Simple Rules
1. No pm'ing without permission.
2. This a chat room. No "sceneing". A little bit of scening is fine we just don't want a page or more of it. There are plenty of other rooms where "sceneing" is encourged.
3. Keep the drama out .. don't bring your shit in with you. If you just gotta hang on to it .. then take it elsewhere and don't stink up our harbor.
4. No trolling. Don't care if you DO have a fishing license. Not in this harbor you don't.
5. Harrassment. Automatic ban.
6. No clones or bots unless authorized by the owners .. silentlucidity or Condor. Although .. clones may be used when it is more than a single person using the same IP .. i.e. .. a couple in the same household on separate computers. That exception has to be made clear to the ops and owners.
7. Ops must be obeyed. Even if the op asks nicely .. there is no refusing an op.
We have a No Tolerance Policy.
If you break a rule .. you will be kicked. If you do anything else again .. you will be banned.
If you pm someone uninvited and you run before an op can kick you .. it's an automatic ban.
Protocol
1. Protocol .. ain't none. If you have a personal protocol that you wish to maintain .. that is fine and will be respected.
2. Plussies .. The "plussies" are given automatically to all lower case nicknames when they enter. Why? Because most subbies want them. They are NOT required. If you want a plussie .. type !plush. If you don't want a plussie .. type !noplush.
3. No one has the right to demand service of anyone else.

RESPECT
Visitors, regulars, Owners, and Ops are committed to treat others with dignity and respect. If you feel you are being disrespected, please speak to the person in private or contact a room Owner or Op if one is not all ready involved. While visiting the Harbor you are asked to respect each person’s privacy. There are great people in the room and if you would like to speak to someone privately seek and gain permission in the common chat room first – unless the person has given you permission to PM at any time. If the other individual chooses not to speak with you in a private message respect his or her decision. If later that same person chooses to PM with another person, do not bash the individual or make comments in the room – even speaking in generalities. This ensures that everyone feels safe and is able to enjoy themselves while in the room. If someone sends an unsolicited PM to you while visiting Calm Harbor, please contact an Owner or Op immediately. Owners and Ops may be PM’d at any time regarding room business. Room business includes but is not limited to: unsolicited PM or someone being disrespectful in the room.
Any other matters (Example: wanting to compliment an Owner or Op on his or her profile, wanting just to chat, etc.) you must first seek and gain permission in the common chat room. **Please note: Failure to seek and gain permission in the common chat room is grounds to be kicked from the room. Repeat offenders will be banned from the room.**
An Owner or Op requesting a PM in the common chat room is being respectful of you. Please respect the Owner or Op by complying. Ignoring or failing to comply may cause you to be kicked and/or banned from the room.
In a similar vein, do not indiscriminately touch someone unless you have prior approval. This includes, but is not limited to, hugs, kisses and putting someone on your lap. Approval or disapproval may come in various ways, just as it does in real life. Not all submissives wear a collar on their nick when they have a Master or Mistress. If you assume that all submissives are owned, whether or not they have the collar on their nick, and you treat them as you would like your own submissive to be treated, the submissives will appreciate it.
NON-DISCRIMINATION
Visitors, regulars, Owners, and Ops should be committed to a chat experience free from discrimination based on age, weight, color of skin, marital status, disability, race, nationality, sexual orientation, religion, political affiliations/views, role within the Lifestyle, etc. (Please note this is not a complete list.) It is important to remember each individual is entitled to his or her opinions, beliefs, choices in life, etc. Visitors, regulars, Owners, and Ops are to be an example of being understanding and tolerant. Additionally, each individual will strive to be open-minded and less sensitive – recognizing sometimes a comment is just a comment, nothing more.

If you consider this place like you would a munch in real life, treat people just as you would at a munch in real life, then you can't go far wrong. The only differences between our room and a real life munch is it's open 24/7 and it's not held in a public venue.
FREEDOM OF ASSOCIATION
Visitors, regulars, Owners, and Ops may freely chat with each other in the room. Furthermore, visitors and regulars may freely communicate with the room Owners and Ops regarding room business.
